Midfielder Brad Crouch was the only Adelaide player to poll in the Round Nine AFL Coaches Votes following his side’s one-point loss to Brisbane at the Gabba on Saturday.

Crouch was the leading ballwinner for the Club with 32 disposals and received three votes for his performance, taking his 2019 tally to 21.

He won a team-high eight clearances and seven tackles to shrug off Brisbane’s attempts to tag key Crow midfielders.

Crows coach Don Pyke and Brisbane coach Chris Fagan favoured the Lions in the votes, with midfielder Lachie Neale awarded a perfect 10 for his game.

Charlie Cameron (seven votes), Dayne Zorko (five), Harris Andrews (four) and Daniel Rich (one) picked up the remaining votes.

Each round, coaches vote for five players with a mark from 1-5, with five the highest.

A maximum of 10 votes can be received in a game.

The player with the most votes at the end of the season becomes the Shadforth AFLCA Champion Player of the Year.
