Adelaide will have two ‘live’ picks at the November 24 AFL National Draft after submitting its first list lodgement with the AFL.

The Crows have made seven changes to their senior list and secured four players through the Trade Period.

Upgrading Jake Kelly from the rookie list will leave Adelaide two spots to fill at the National Draft with picks No.9 and No.13.

There will also be two spots available at the November 27 Rookie Draft.

Adelaide will have two new Category B rookies next season – former Australian basketballer Hugh Greenwood and former Victorian cricketer Alex Keath.

Crows Head of Football David Noble said the Club had been proactive during the off-season.

“We went into the Trade Period and identified some areas of need,” Noble said.

“Overall we hit all of our targets and we’ve positioned ourselves strongly heading into this draft with two first round picks.

“We look at the Trade Period as a net result and we are extremely excited with the players we have brought in. We now turn our attention to picking up the best available talent at the draft.”
